Karma Konnection

Karma is the base of all the religions that originated from our country,and that’s why we are always told to do good and some charity,and to realize this we have to get old.Past life is also an interesting bit of our religion,all good and bad happening with us always ends with the concept of past birth as we don’t have anything else to blame.Last year I read a book,which talks about past birth,some relationships that were incomplete in the last birth continue to our present birth.Parents,siblings,neighbour,friends are all result of past birth relationships,and they are with us to fulfill some duties that were incomplete in the past birth or to take something into our next birth,and we too are in others life for the same.There have been million pleasures in my life, shared with so many people,few good to relish and few heartbreaking to even think of thinking about it.Some people are still in my life,some are long forgotten and some whom I don’t even want to see in this life.Thinking deep about this there had been some wonderful people in my life who had come like an angel did a good and left,some devils too had visited and they have taught me something good.People don’t walk into our life simply everyone has something to teach or torment,but they are here because there is some karma connection.As you sow,so shall you reap!

பிரியாணி

பிரியாணி என்று சொன்னாலே போதும்,எனக்கு பசிக்க ஆரம்பித்துவிடும்,நாள் கிழமை பார்பதில்லை எப்படியாவது பிரியாணி ருசித்திடுவேன்.வாழ்க்கையை எட்டு எட்டாக பிரித்தார் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்,என் வாழ்க்கையை பிரியாணி பிரியாணியாகவே பிரித்திடுவேன்.கல்லூரி வரை அம்மாவின் பிரியாணி தான்,கல்லூரி நாட்களில் போரூர் ஆற்காடு பிரியாணி,கல்லூரியின் கடைசி நாட்களில் வடபழனி ஸ்டார் பிரியாணி,கொஞ்ச நாட்கள் நுங்கம்பாக்கம் மலபார் பிரியாணி,இப்போ விழுப்புரம்  வாங்க சாப்பிடலாம் பிரியாணி.எல்லா ஊர்களில் பிரியாணி ஒரே மாதிரி சுவைப்பதில்லை,அனால் ஒவ்வொரு பிரியாணியும் சூப்பர் சுவை .பிரியாணி,அக்பர் மன்னருக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தது,அக்காலத்தில் பிரியாணி செய்முறை ரகசியமாகவே இருந்தது.அனால் இன்று கன்னியாகுமரி வரை பிரியாணி பரிமாறாத ஊர் இல்லை.நண்பர்களுடன் ஏலகிரி செல்லும் வழியில் கண்டிப்பாக வாணியம்பாடி அகமதியா உணவகத்தில் பிரியாணி சுவைக்காமல் மலை ஏறுவது இல்லை.மலையில் இருந்து இறங்கியதும்,வண்டி நிற்பது ஆம்பூர் ஸ்டார் பிரியாணி கடையில்,அப்படியே பக்கத்து கடையில் ஆளுக்கு 4 மக்கன் பேடா வாயில் போட்டுக்கொண்டால் தான் ஏலகிரி பயணம் முற்று பெறும்,இல்லையெனில் எதோ விட்ட குறையாகவே இருக்கும்.பல வருடங்களுக்கு முன் நண்பனின் சொல் கேட்டு கிருஷ்ணகிரி சித்தி ஹோட்டலில் சாப்பிட்ட மட்டன் பிரியாணி மறக்கவேமுடியாது,மறு முறை சாப்பிட வாய்ப்பு அமையவில்லை.வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தால் விட போவதில்லை.பல முக்கியமான திருமணங்களை தவறவிற்றுருகிறேன்,அனால் பிரியாணி பரிமாறப்படும் நிக்காஹ் நிகழ்ச்சிகளை தவறவிட்டதில்லை.எனக்கும் என் நண்பர்களுக்கும்,வெளியூர் பயணம் செய்யும் போது சொல்லபடாத விதி ஒன்று உண்டு,அதாவது வெளியூரில் கண்டிப்பாக அசைவம் தான்,எக்காரணத்திற்காகவும் அசைவத்தை விடுவதில்லை,செல்லும் ஊரில் எதாவது ஒரு கடையில் விசாரிப்போம்,அல்லது அந்த ஊரில் உள்ள நண்பரிடம் கேட்டு பிரியாணி சாப்பிட்டு தான் கிளம்புவோம்.பிரியாணிக்காக 50 கி.மீ வெட்டியாக பயணித்ததும் உண்டு.பிரியாணி சாப்பிடாது,பிடிக்காது ஆள் இருக்க முடியாது,வெஜிடபிள் பிரியாணியும் உண்டு அல்லவா? எத்தனை வகையான பிரியாணி இருந்தாலும் எனக்கு எப்பொழுதும் பிடித்தது என் அம்மாவின் பிரியாணி.அநேகமாக எல்லாருக்கும் பிடித்தது.போன முறை பிரியாணி பற்றி ஆங்கில வலைபதிவு  செய்யும் போது,மதிய உணவு பிரியாணி.அனால் இன்று காலையிலே,பிரியாணி இல்லை,நானும் என் நண்பனும் நடை பயிற்சியின் போது பேசியது பிரியாணி பற்றி

சிறிது வெளிச்சம்

நான் படிக்கும் சில தமிழ் புத்தகங்களில், பிடித்த படைப்பாளிகளில் ஒருவர் S.ராமகிருஷ்ணன்.ராமகிருஷ்ணனின் அறிமுகம் கிடைத்தது ஆனந்த விகடன் மூலமே அதுவும் சிறுது வெளிச்சம் மூலமாகதான்.என் கல்லூரி பணிகளால்,எல்லா இதழ்களையும் படிக்க காலம் அனுமதிக்கவில்லை.ஒரு முறை சென்னையின் புத்தக விழாவில் தான் சிறுது வெளிச்சம் முழு தொகுப்பும் கண்டேன்,யோசிக்கவில்லை வாங்கிவிட்டேன்.தலைப்பு தான் சிறிது வெளிச்சம் ஆனால் புத்தகத்தில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ள விஷயங்கள் அனைத்தும் சூரிய வெளிச்சம்.நம் வாழ்வில் அன்றாடம் நடக்கும் சின்ன சின்ன  விஷயங்களும் நம்மை சுற்றி இருபவர்களுள் எவ்வளவு பெரிய பாதிப்புகள் உண்டாக்கும் என்பதை இந்த புத்தகம் மூலம் அறிந்து கொண்டேன்.இப்புத்தகத்தின் மூலம் உலக சினிமாவையும் தெரிந்து கொண்டேன்,புத்தக்கத்தில்  குறிபிட்டுள்ள அநேக படங்களும் ரசித்து விட்டேன்.உலக சினிமா என்றால் ஹாலிவுட் என்று நினைத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பவர்கள் அவசியம் படிக்க வேண்டிய புத்தகம்.இந்த புத்தகத்தின் ருசியை நான் அனுபவித்தேன் ,என் நண்பர்களுக்கும் ருசிக்க கொடுத்தேன்,அவர்களும் இப்பொழுது ராமகிருஷ்ணனின் நூலை விரும்பி வாசிக்கிறார்கள்.ராமகிருஷ்ணனின் “துணைஎழுத்து” “நடந்து செல்லும் நீருற்று” “உபபாண்டவம்” ஆகியவையும் கட்டாயம் படிக்க வேண்டியவை.”மழைமான்” “தேசாந்திரி” “பிகாசோவின் கோடுகள்” படிக்க காத்துக்கொண்டிருகிறேன்,நேரம் இல்லை.

Marriage

Of some great authors I’ve read Kahlil Gibran is my favourite.Whenever there is any issue with me i simply find solution by reading Gibran’s works.Gibran has written on almost all of the issues that are part of mankind.The following is on Marriage not because I’ve Marriage issue,but others shouldn’t.

Who are we to judge?

When two great minds meet, they discuss an idea.When two great people meet they discuss an event and when two fools meet they discuss about others.I have few friends who are very curious to know what other friends are doing and nothing wrong about it because nobody is in constant touch with everyone and what is wrong is that people starting judging others.Who are we to judge anyone,every living thing in this world are prisoners of birth and in this period we are prisoners of circumstances too.Not everyone are saint to sacrifice their priorities for others,personal priorities are vital to keep anyone going.And everyone wants to do what is right at the moment for them,right for them might be wrong for others, that doesn’t mean that we give up our right and rights just because its wrong for others.My close pals very well know that I don’t discuss about a person who is not present there, if mandatory to discuss,I say that we just analyze his situation rather than coming to a conclusion.One incident where X was blamed for not respecting Y,my opinion was that self respect was important for X that respect for Y.Before we judge anyone we fail to imagine our self in the situation and our reaction to the situation but we criticize other person’s reaction. “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”-Mother Theresa.Mother Theresa wouldn’t have said the above lines unless she was criticized for her great social service,but she did what she felt was right.Who are we to judge people?

Sun sign or Moon sign?

I’m addicted to newspaper,there has never been a day in the past ten years that I missed reading it,and it is an  pleasure to read newspapers and reading astrology section was something that I liked the most,well I don’t know if astrology is true,but then astrology is mystery and the astrology column always amazes how can it be so customised for me,but later realized that every reader would feel the same.While reading astrology column,I asked my friend about his sign ,he asked me english or tamil,I didn’t understand,gave a look,and he told me if english leo,if tamil thula,I know that leo is simha in tamil,and I told him that,but he was trying to say,that,if english newspaper then read leo and if tamil paper read libra,only then I realized that he is also confused between moon sign and sun sign.
Sun sign
Sun sign is very predominant in the western astrology and it is stable.Sun sign is determined by a fixed date range.Sun is seen only in the day time and so sun sign describes about a person’s character towards others or his social behaviour in precise.I rely upon sunsign to know about my friends. Linda Goodman’s description of sun signs are believed to gold standard.Reading Linda Goodman is really worth.
Moon sign
Moon sign is Indian special,it is believed that moon sign are more accurate than sun sign.Moon reflects our innerself.Unlike sun sign,moon sign is always changing and it is calculated according to date and time.Moon sign is basically what we are to ourself,whereas sun sign is how we are to others.
And this why we look for sunsign in English papers and moon sign in regional papers.
